He’s previously released on Fat! Records and remixed Maru, picking up support from the likes of James Zabiela, Ben Westbeech and Hackman along the way, the Love High EP sees him kick off 2013 with a bang. Lead track Love High is a classy piece of house music, with an infectious melody, neat vocal samples and some fizzing percussion all combining to create a true club jam. I’m Gone is trademark Wolf Cub, building and building with gorgeous pads and vocals snippets before falling into an awesome deep groove. What You Need is another slick cut of lush deep house, complete with lavish chords and some wicked percussion, whilst Kerouac rounds off the EP with more dancefloor ready business. In all it’s a showcase of Wolf Cub’s ability to create classic house music, effortlessly melding simple elements to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
